Living Out Loud Writing Groups

Here in this space, energy becomes words … in a way not possible anywhere else. The sense of safety, sisterhood, acceptance and encouragement that Deb creates make it a(n almost) sacred experience. Even after months or years away from the group, it still fills my well and reignites my passion for writing and living unapologetically. Thank you, Deb, from the bottom of my heart and depths of my soul. ~ Sarah; grad student, mom

I was writing outside the other day. It was the middle of the afternoon and I was sitting on a bench by the lake in the sun — writing. This is something I used to dream about. Now I’m doing it! Thanks, Deb, for providing encouragement and a safe space for me to dig around and find the courage to live out loud. ~ Kathy; entrepreneur

Thanks Deb, for creating the space for us to access and unleash our creativity, our joy, our pain, our true selves.  You are a fabulous guide. ~ Maria; jewelry designer

When days are filled with the chaos of work, home and everyone else, taking time for me, with women who have become friends is special. It’s a place to work out thoughts in my head, a place to get inspiration and a moment where nothing matters but me and my pen. ~ Gina; fundraising professional

When I write, I am often bored by my story … a story I know too well. But when I read aloud and I experience my words in the presence of these women, I become re-convinced that I have something to say, and my words become magic. ~ Barb; non-profit manager

Talks and Workshops

It took me a while to realize that we weren’t just talking about writing, we were talking about living. Your tools and techniques are wonderful; thanks for the great experience. ~ Lable; corporate coach, author

What a great workshop; it reminded me how cathartic writing can be. ~ Roberta; executive

Deb has a great way of encouraging writers who are hesitant to get into the practice. ~ Dawn; financial planner

One-on-One Work

I was nervous about writing, but Deb’s encouragement, support and her ability to break through my anxiety had me doing it in no time. ~ Marsha; executive coach

Deb motivated me to get off my butt and finish my website. ~ Andy; personal trainer

I knew I had something to say, I just didn’t know how to get it out. Deb taught me how to “throw it all down on paper” without stressing out about making it perfect. Then she helped me look at it with fresh eyes so I could shape it, make it clear, articulate and me. ~ Heidi; restaurateur

You were the first person who made me believe I was a writer. ~ Sandi; coach
