work with me

Working with me through one-on-one coaching or mentoring, and by attending Living Out Loud Writing Groups, you’ll find a safe and challenging opportunity (the two are not mutually exclusive) to stretch, grow, and unleash on the page and in your life.

Learn more about workshops here
(the site’s being built bit-by-bit, so check back for more information on upcoming opportunities) (or better yet, sign up for the newsletter to get the scoops on them when they’re announced). (and if you’re here for my rev-ing schtuff, go here.)

One-on-one work
At the moment I only work with a handful of private clients at a time. I don’t focus on getting you published (there are plenty of others who do that, and i can recommend them, if that’s what you want); instead, you’ll learn to get out of your own way, get your stories on the page, and trust your voice. Whether you want to publish, or you’re scratching a creative itch and you’re not sure where it’s going yet … or maybe writing’s part of a larger patchwork of creative unleashing you’re doing in your life. Whatever it is, well figure out the support, encouragement and practice that’ll get you on your way.

Editing
If you’re looking for editing and/or feedback on a particular project, I can do that too, but before we talk, you might want to read this article about Liz Lerman’s Critical Response Process; her method informs the way I work, so reading it will help you see if it’s right for you.

How it works to work with me …
I currently work on an hourly rate, so it’s easy for clients to tell me what they want to spend, and then I’ll do what I can to get as much skwooshed into the time that your budget will allow.

Ecourses, teleseminars, retreats, oh my!
I’ll be adding e-courses and teleseminars – and a fall 2013 retreat offering – so stay tuned (or better yet, sign up for my insider newsletter). In the meantime, come play at Throw-down Thursday(s), like the FB page, and/or follow me on Twitter. I love talking and engaging with peeps on topics of writing, self-care, living big, and living awesome.
