In life is good/ poetry/ thank you/more please/ the force

lighting up the sky (poetry interlude)

How ’bout a little magic from Hafiz to improve your day?

Even after all this time
the Sun has never told the Earth

You owe me,
look what happens
with a love like that,
it lights the whole sky.

So, Deb, in the hopes that this serves you, here’s a poem I wrote a few years ago when we shared time at the Mother Tree in Sebastopol, CA.

    FOG (EPJ June 1 2001)

    FOG

    can’t see

    FOG

is rain that hasn’t made a decision.

    FOG

is air that’s overflowing with juice.

    FOG

is a cloud that yearns for connection.

    FOG

is nourishment where there is little rain.

    FOG

is a message to slow, to probe

    FOG

    envelopes us, holds us.

    FOG

    can see so much.

This is so delicious, Peter. Thanks for sharing it. I love “rain that hasn’t made a decision” “air overflowing with juice” and “cloud that yearns for connection” … actually, I love it all. (sigh) (yum)

(and i love that it was inspired by our time in leadership. double yum.)
