Come as you are; write as you are …

These are some scary-ass times (and yes, I think that should be an official term for what’s going on …).

We’re cut off from our regular lives and communities, and it kinda feels like we’re at the start of some freaky dystopian novel before things go completely to hell. I’ve had so many feelings swirling around: fear, anger, hope, extreme unsettledness, and stress, stress, double-stress. Other than staying home and washing my hands like it’s my job, I‘ve been doing what I do when I don’t know what the hell to do: I write through it.

But these days, the stress-pit can feel almost bottomless, and I figured that if I felt like that, a lot of other people might too. So I’m going to create space for women to come together in a different sort of community: to vent, share, lean on one another, and create a little oasis of sanity in this crazy-ass world.

You may choose to buy me a virtual cup of coffee, pay what folks usually do for an online workshop of this type ($30) … or something else entirely.

Whatever you can give is OK. Your support will help me maintain the tech, resources (including the all-important paid Zoom platform) – the things I need to maintain my biz, and keep sharing this work.

But if you’re unable to give anything right now, please come anyway.

Because the stuff I teach is a balm during these times.

I write to try to make sense of the world, and to figure out my place in it, and I want to give you the opportunity to do that too.

No matter what this damn pandemic is doing to your wallet.

  • When it’s time to meet, we’ll gather on Zoom, do a little get-settled meditaion-ish thing, write from prompts, chat a little, and hopefully relieve some of the anxiety and stress we’re dealing with.write your stress out
