I’m so happy you’re here.
This is going to be awesome.

Here’s how it’s all going to go down.

You’ll get your first email on December 9th with a link to a video message from me that will fill you in on ways you can approach the program, and your writing.

Every other day you’ll receive a new email with a mix of prompts, suggestions, and inspiration that will help you take stock, make peace, and beging to move forward. (I will also be reminding you again and again that there is no right way to do this. You can’t mess it up; there’s no ultimate deadline to shoot for, and no one to impress.)

On day 20 (December 29th) I’ll host a one-hour get-together on Zoom at 6:30pm ET. (The Zoom link will come in one of your first emails, but pop that into your calendar now, so you don’t forget.) On the call we’ll do a little release ceremony before I open the floor for Q&A, and discussion.

FYI: you don’t have to participate in the discussion if you don’t want to. You don’t even have to get on the call if you don’t want to. Naturally, I’d love to see you all there – these conversations can be great places to learn, and I’ve been known to share some bonus prompts – but it will be recorded and saved to a secure, encrypted file in Dropbox Pro, and will be available for you to watch until January 31st … so if you can’t make it, or you’d rather watch later, you can.


Bottom line? This is a “choose your own adventure” program from top to bottom. You’ll get a LOT of prompts and exercises every day, and they may seem overwhelming, but do your best not to let them feel like pressure. They’re invitations, not assignments. You don’t have to do them all. Just do the exercises you want, and hold the others for later. Or never. (Last year a woman told me she got into one of the days prompts/exercises so much, she took several days to work on it, and then picked up on the other emails that had come in when she was done.)

However you want to do it is the right way. It’s totally your call. (You’re going to hear me say that a LOT if you haven’t figured that out already.)
